Kamloops veterinarians Dr. Adrian Helmers and Dr. Megan Broschak plan to open Phases Emergency Veterinary Hospital by Winter 2024. Their goal to provide the city with essential 24-hour veterinary services is close to fruition.

Currently, six veterinary clinics in the city work on a call rotation to meet the demand for after hours emergency treatment. Helmers and Broschak’s initiative will fulfill the city’s need for 24-hour care while also working to prevent burnout, ensuring that current veterinary clinics will not need to work past regular hours.
