Toronto Humane Society’s latest campaign will leave you wonderstruck

In celebration of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, the Toronto Humane Society has launched a special adoption campaign featuring a unique tribute to the pop superstar. A group of adoptable shelter cats has been named after some of Swift’s hit songs and albums, such as Folklore, Evermore, Red, Midnights, Willow, Marjorie, August, and Champagne.
In addition to the music-inspired cats, the Toronto Humane Society recently welcomed seven new kittens into their care, all named in homage to Taylor Swift’s career and personal life. These new arrivals include “Reputation,” “Travis,” “Kelce,” “Dorothea,” “Benjamin,” “Taylor,” and “Karma,” further expanding the group of Swift-inspired felines.
The names go beyond album titles and song references; many of the cats also carry names that reflect Swift’s iconic lyrics and recurring themes. Cats like “Cardigan” and “Willow” are part of the tribute.
“We’re thrilled to offer this heartfelt homage to Taylor’s music and her love of cats,” says Melissa Shupak, director of animal sheltering at Toronto Humane Society. “It’s our way of connecting her influence to a meaningful cause and showing her fans a way they can make a real impact here in Toronto.”
