Zebras relocated to New Brunswick following turf war

Two zebras from the Forestry Farm Park and Zoo in Saskatoon, Sask. have been transferred to the Magnetic Hill Zoo in Moncton, N.B. Koffee, a gelding, and LeeLoo, a female, became a bonded pair after being separated from their herd last fall due to a medical issue. Citing concerns about territorial behaviour among the other male zebras in the Saskatoon Zoo’s herd of five, the zoo decided against reintroducing them to the herd.
