Canadian Competition Bureau addresses pet medication distribution

As more Canadians welcome pets into their homes, demand for pet medications has surged. However, limited purchasing options—largely restricted to veterinary offices—have led to higher costs and fewer choices. In response, the Competition Bureau of Canada has released a new analysis, Pets, Vets and Meds: The Case for More Competition, calling for greater competition in the pet pharmaceutical sector.
