New specialty and emergency veterinary centre opens in Ottawa

VCA Canada has announced the recent opening of the newly expanded Alta Vista Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centre, a 52,000-sq ft facility that includes departments, such as neurology, internal medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, surgery and critical care. With this recent expansion, the group aims to offer advanced veterinary services will be increased for pets and their families.

“Every detail of our hospital reflects our dedication to innovation, patient comfort, and seamless collaboration,” says Jason Kill, General Manager. “With a nod to the past, we look forward to the continued future growth in our specialist departments and providing ongoing learning opportunities for our referral communities in Ottawa and the surrounding regions.”

The centre aims to reduce wait times for pet families across the region and increase collaboration between general practitioners and specialists.
