Dr. Gauvin reps CVMA on vet services for OMVQ

Dr. Gauvin is a past president of the CVMA and remains actively involved within the CVMA as chair of the Communications Advisory Group and member of the Workforce Advisory Group.

The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) announced the appointment of Jean Gauvin, M.V., as the association’s representative on the Ordre des Médecins Vétérinaires du Québec (OMVQ) working group on succession and maintenance of veterinary services in the companion and leisure animal sector in Quebec.

Dr. Gauvin is a past president of the CVMA and remains actively involved within the CVMA as chair of the Communications Advisory Group and member of the Workforce Advisory Group. Additionally, he received the 2025 CVMA’s President’s Award for exceptional service to the association and transformative contributions to the veterinary profession in June.
