Cornell University has named Meg Thompson, DVM, as director of the Cornell University Hospital for Animals (CUHA). Dr. Thompson, who is also the associate clinical professor of imaging at the College of Veterinary Medicine, has been interim director of CUHA since August 2015.

The Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences recently named Sakhila Banu, Ph.D., as the 2016-17 Montague-Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) Scholar. Dr. Banu is an assistant professor in the Department of Veterinary Integrative Biosciences.
