NIH issues grant to further canine cancer research

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) recently awarded a $500,000 grant to fund a study aimed at increasing the understanding about the interactions between cancer and the immune system in dogs with naturally occurring tumors. The researchers will then apply that knowledge to the understanding of human cancer.

UC Davis seeks cats with chronic gingivostomatitis for study

Saskatchewan vet college gets new learning center

The University of Saskatchewan recently celebrated the completion of the BJ Hughes Center for Clinical Learning at its Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM). The center was made possible by a donation from Bev Hughes, who has supported the college for many years, according to the university.
