Pets eat the darndest things, don’t they?

A pile of rocks? Check. An intact lightbulb? Check. A fondue fork? Check. Ninety-plus potatoes? Check. (…and check, and check, and check—you get the picture!)

A leggy issue

This kitten was roaming about with an injured hind limb and was found to have a missing distal leg. The team at Clearspring Animal Hospital took an X-ray to look for injuries. They noted a Salter-Harris type 2 fracture in the right leg—and found the missing distal foot in the patient’s abdomen.
