Pets eat the darndest things, don’t they?

A pile of rocks? Check. An intact lightbulb? Check. A fondue fork? Check. Ninety-plus potatoes? Check. (…and check, and check, and check—you get the picture!)

A bit tied up

Puppies, eh? This six-month-old Bernese Mountain dog was brought into Thames Road Veterinary Clinic for vomiting and inappetence. As it turns out, the pooch ate a rope toy, and several bunches of rope material needed to be removed from the stomach and small intestine. The dog recovered well.
