Canadian scientist presents a solution to animal antibiotic resistance

In the quest to combat antibiotic resistance, Steven Theriault, has turned to cutting-edge bacteriophage research. Though Canada’s drug regulations pose a challenge to Canadian distribution, Theriault has submitted FarmPhage—a new bacteriophage cocktail effective against E.coli and salmonella in chickens—for approval in the U.S.
