Reducing immigration targets could worsen Canada’s vet crisis, CVMA warns

The CVMA is sounding the alarm over the government’s cut to immigration targets, warning it could deepen Canada’s veterinary shortage. In a letter to IRCC Minister Marc Miller, the CVMA stressed the timing couldn’t be worse as clinics struggle to recruit new vets.
