AAEVT To Host Wet Labs At AVMA Convention
San Diego will be the home to a series of wetlabs held by the AAEVT and other equine associations.

The American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians and the San Dieguito Equine Group plan to host a series of wetlabs on Aug. 6, 2012, in conjunction with the American Veterinary Medical Association Convention Aug. 4-7, 2012, in San Diego.
The event will be held at the San Dieguito Equine Group’s facilities in San Marcos, Calif., and participants will be eligible for 7 RACE-certified continuing education credits.
Lab topics include:
- Anatomy and Nerve Blocks: Dissection of the Equine Limb;
- Digital Radiology: Positioning, Equipment;
- Ultrasound Techniques; and
- MRI: Demonstration, Image Acquisition, Technician Role.
Deadline for mailed registration is July 19, 2012, and only phoned or faxed registration will be taken after that date. The registration form is available here.
