While the resounding favourite is definitely Luna, with Charlie following as a close second, Rover revealed metrics for the top dog names according to gender:

Other increasingly popular celebrity-inspired names included Pedro, which rose by 51 per cent in 2023, as well as Oprah, Doja, Yeezy, and Suga.

Swifties have also been making their mark in the dog community. Fan-favourites such as Karma, Betty, and August continued to dominate the list in 2023, while Joe rose 15 per cent and Travis made a record rise of 31 per cent.
