Veterinary professionals across the country are gearing up for the annual Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) Convention, which will be held July 6 to 9 in Québec City.

Hosted at the Québec City Convention Centre, the event offers a variety of networking opportunities, including the CVMA Job Fair, along with educational highlights, including hands-on workshops, more than 100 hours of on-site continuing education (CE), and over 50 hours of live-streamed virtual CE.

Session topics include (but are not limited to):

• Dermatology
• Dentistry
• Gastrointestinal nutrition
• Cardiology
• Equine medicine
• Equine ophthalmology
• Ruminant surgery
• Animal welfare
• One Health

Additionally, on July 8, CVMA will host a Social Evening aboard the AML-Louis Jolliet for a St. Lawrence River cruise. Attendees will be treated to a cocktail reception, sit-down dinner, and dancing, all while taking in the beautiful panoramic views of Québec City.

The event will also include the CVMA Summit, Annual General Meeting (AGM), and Awards Gala on July 6.
